To help us make Atclyff Web a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). Atclyff has chosen Level AA as the target for the Atclyff Web. Our team has achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor Atclyff Web regularly to maintain this level. If you have any requests or suggestions for improvement, please contact us.
Atclyff's accessibility goal is to design, produce and market products and services that can be easily used by a broad audience to include people with disabilities. In 42 U.S.C. § 12102(2), both the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and
Section 504 define disability as follows:
(1) a physical or mental impairment that
substantially limits one or more major life activities of such individual,
(2) a
record of such impairment,
(3) being regarded as having such a condition.
ADA further defines the three key phrases: “physical or mental impairment,” “major life activities,” and “substantially limiting.” A student’s condition must meet each of these factors in order for the student to be considered disabled for purposes of the ADA or Section 504. Current and prospective students, clients, and partners with aforementioned conditions will be accommodated to the best of our abilities in service and product provision.
