The GMAT is a standardized exam testing quantitative, verbal, and data reasoning skills required for professional school entrance in the fields of business, public policy, public health, and other administrative professions. The GMAT is also accepted by a select number of premier law schools as an alternative to the LSAT. Most competitive schools expect a score in the 565-675 range (max 805). A high score on the GMAT may greatly enhance a candidate's chances at matriculation and merit-based scholarships.

Atclyff offers a rigorous review program for success on the GMAT that is unique in comparison to other national prep courses, self-study guide books, and online platform material. Our approach is to diagnose each student's preliminary strengths and weaknesses on the contemporary GMAT material (Quantitative, Verbal, and Data Insights), while we simultaneously evaluate the student's individual skill set. If the GMAT student has completed a prior GMAT review course with a different team, that knowledge may be integrated into the program. The Atclyff team designs a custom tailored GMAT program in a review class or private tutoring to address each student's specific needs. The content, depth, and scope of our GMAT course may depend on the academic background of the student and GMAT preparation and review completed to date. During the GMAT Quantitative Preparation, foundational skills are discussed in the order of numbers, algebra, statistics, and probability, and most efficient strategies are established to optimize time and performance on quantitative reasoning and data sufficiency GMAT sections. In all GMAT prep sessions, major types of grammar and sentence correction questions as well as most frequently encountered logical reasoning questions are discussed. Atclyff teachers follow the official GMAC GMAT publications and train students at all levels for different types of GMAT critical reasoning questions, reading comprehension techniques, and language content that will be tested on the current GMAT. After fundamental reading techniques are reinforced, our teachers will suggest the effective strategies in critical reasoning, advanced test-taking, and overall time management to maximize score gains on the GMAT. Atclyff instructors have observed that no single method of GMAT test taking is universally applicable to every student. Therefore, Atclyff students are individually prepared for what may best work for their upcoming GMAT sittings.
