The GRE is the primary testing requirement for most graduate and some professional schools, and it is now widely accepted by professional schools, including top-tier MBA and J.D. programs as an alternative to the GMAT or LSAT. Most competitive programs expect a verbal and quantitative score set in the 155-165 range (max 170 per section). Graduate programs heavily weigh a competitive GRE performance when evaluating students for admissions and matriculation.

The Atclyff team designs a custom tailored GRE program in a review class or private tutoring to address each student's specific needs. The content, depth, and scope of our GRE course may depend on the academic background of the student and GRE preparation and review completed to date. During the GRE Quantitative Preparation, foundational skills are discussed in the order of numbers, algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability, and the most efficient strategies are established to optimize time and performance on quantitative GRE sections. In all GRE prep sessions, major types of language and vocabulary questions as well as most frequently encountered critical reasoning questions are discussed. Atclyff teachers follow the official ETS GRE publications and train students at all levels and types of GRE critical reasoning questions, reading comprehension techniques, and language content that will be tested on the current GRE. After fundamental reading techniques are reinforced, our teachers will suggest the effective strategies in reasoning, advanced test-taking, and overall time management to maximize score gains on the GRE.
